Saudi-born dreamer and vibe generator Muhanned Nassar — aka Vinyl Mode — was exposed to an array of rich cultures that shaped his artistic outlook and his way of bridging the gaps of the human experience through sound.

Vibing and creating in the Saudi underground since 2005 alongside a community of electronic-music lovers, he built a long run of unforgettable dancefloor memories and became one of the main pillars of the country's underground scene.

In 2019, Muhanned was selected for an art residency hosted by the French government at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. The concept took shape when he staged his first open studio there — a shared art experience with fellow residents, built to highlight the effect our energy has on one another. He named it Vibe Generators, and that idea became the collective's name and its reason for being.

Back home in Saudi Arabia later that year, he joined the MDLBEAST team as a founding member — the project that grew into the loudest electronic music festival in the region and reshaped the Kingdom's music industry, carrying the scene from the underground to the surface. At the same time, he turned the Paris vision into reality, establishing Vibe Generators as a music and art collective and record label.

Today he's carved out a new genre of Arabic house — Hejazi House, rooted in the west-coast slang of Saudi Arabia — with a run of releases that caught on across the Middle East: Eshg Alsamar, Shoft Alhala, and Etha Habbetik, featuring local hip-hop artist, comedian, and actor Moayad.
